Job Description

Zapalala Supermarkets is seeking a qualified Human Resources Officer to manage recruitment, employee relations, HR administration, payroll inputs, and support HR development initiatives within a fast-growing retail chain.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment and onboarding process.
  • Oversee employee relations including disciplinary matters.
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and internal HR policies.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, leave management, and HR administration.
  • Prepare and manage payroll inputs.
  • Coordinate training and development initiatives.
  • Support performance management systems and staff appraisals.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture aligned with company values.
