Job Description

Fidelity Life is seeking a visionary Senior Software Developer to lead digital transformation initiatives, bridging legacy systems with modern cloud-native infrastructure while ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Duties & Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain middleware solutions and integration services
Lead architectural modernization and migration of legacy systems into cloud-native microservices
Build and manage APIs, microservices, and messaging systems
Integrate disparate systems (databases, third-party services, legacy systems)
Ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability of middleware platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, backend, DevOps, QA)
Identify and automate manual workflows (CI/CD, RPA, etc.)
Implement security best practices in data exchange and service communication
Monitor middleware systems and optimize performance

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
5–8+ years of professional software development experience, including large-scale system migrations
At least 3+ years as a full stack developer in financial services
Proven experience in middleware development and system integration
Proficiency in Java/Python and JavaScript/C#, SQL and NoSQL databases
Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Knowledge of RESTful APIs, SOAP, and web services
Familiarity with microservices architecture
Expert-level understanding of Agile/Scrum and modern DevOps practices
Version control experience (e.g., Git)
