Job Description

Astra Industries – Plascon Zimbabwe is inviting applications for the role of Sales Consultant – Trade Business (Paints), based in Harare. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding the customer base, and supporting the company’s strategic repositioning.

Duties & Responsibilities

Implement sales and marketing strategies.
Drive growth in product sales, customer base, and profitability.
Develop and review sales control systems.
Promote the full range of paints products and acquire new customers.
Identify customer needs and align solutions with company offerings.
Engage customers across all corporate sales programmes.
Conduct product seminars, clinics, and presentations.
Monitor stock and support product distribution.

Qualifications & Experience

Sales/Marketing higher diploma, degree, or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of two years' experience in a customer-focused role within the Trade business market.
Knowledge of mining chemical products is an added advantage.

Strategic thinking, scenario planning, and problem-solving ability.
Ability to manage and resolve potentially volatile situations.
Strong sales acumen with the ability to engage at all levels.
Confident presenter with professional presence and listening skills.
