Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced, results-driven and safety conscious Quarry Manager to lead and manage quarry operations in Bulawayo. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full production cycle, including drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and crushing of approximately 30,000 tonnes of granite rock per month. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to improve operational efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and manage the production team across drilling, blasting, loading, hauling, and crushing operations.
Ensure production targets of 30,000 tonnes per month are achieved efficiently and safely.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all quarry activities.
Implement strategies to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and mining standards.
Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance schedules.
Manage budgets, costs, and resource allocation.
Enforce adherence to company policies and statutory regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Mining Engineering or Mine Manager's Diploma.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in mining or quarry operations.
At least 5 years' experience in a managerial role.
Strong technical knowledge of mining and crushing operations.
Proven ability to improve operational efficiencies.
Strong leadership skills and ability to manage teams effectively.
High level of integrity and a strong character.
Full Blasting Licence.
Valid Driver's Licence.
