Job Description

Applications are invited for the position of Laundry Assistant at Arundel School. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for handling laundry operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting housekeeping functions within the school environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding laundry items, including stain removal.
Assisting with maintaining accurate laundry records and inventory of supplies.
Monitoring equipment and reporting faults or maintenance requirements.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, including the safe handling of chemicals.
Assisting with deep cleaning and supporting internal customer needs.
Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum of 5 Ordinary Level passes including English Language.
At least 1 year of experience in laundry services or a similar environment (hospitality experience is an added advantage).
Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, detergents, and cleaning processes.
Fire management training is an added advantage.
